You know how you have one of those days, when everything's just fine - you know - perfectly fine - you're with people you like, you're doing things you like - but you just feel psawbbbh? Yeah, that.

I had a really good interview with an 82 year gentleman this morning. I was amazed at how coherent he was, how calm and happy he was. I've seen old age both at its best and its bitterest - but he made me feel hopeful. It was a nice way to spend the morning.

I finally went to the film festival. I met the old festival-faithfuls, and we all went to poster gully at Chandni and picked up some vintage (and not-so-vintage) posters for our hostel rooms in Pune. Then we had veg-chow at Raju's kitchen and then the film (something about O-shien going Hula - which is really mean, but whatever). Anyway, didn't feel like old times somehow.

We had cha at Vien and talked a little shit and came back.
There's something about growing up that's so disturbing. Like you know, shit, college is over, there's work, there're deadlines to meet, fake smiles to flash, yet...we're not quite there. There's that little bit of naivette-nostalgia you desperately want to hang onto. A few days ago I spent a lot of time with school friends - and today it was college. And it just feels like a rockstar's son. I dunno - just psawbbbh.

Dead On and Basic Instinct - well - someone's having fun at least :)

Yeah - it is pretty much :)
We didn't spend more than 10 or 20 bucks, but for the big spenders, there are bigger surprises. The person in the picture got his posters for free by the way ;)
