my thoughts exactly......one of the best....if not THE best production i have ever seen....
it had it's flaws. But what i loved was the sheer physicality of it. And you know, the way it transcended the language barrier and everything. I had issues with some of the actors' dictions and stuff. and Bottom, (ok I lovedhimandall) hammed right? and Hermia was naka. And Demetrius was...ektu ho-hum. But mostly I loved it. The stage craft, choreography, colours and all that. I've not seen this sort of theatre much... so it's probably the best I HAVE seen. Nothing beats the Moulin Rogue though ;)
I saw that when i was 17! with my parents!!!!
yeah...yeah....i know....it had it's flaws and all that...but somehow everything kind of came together and left me rather speechless...
is it just me... or is there something wrong with her face?
all that sweat and make up and harsh lights... it can happen I suppose. But believe me, she's gorgeous on stage.
Really brilliant I agree. We had done a production of msnd in 2004, but it was timid and delicate compared to Supples'. And although I smeared myself silly with odomos(which didn't help btw!)....YEP def worth the gazillion mosquito bites.ciao Penny;o)
Oh the mosquitoes. I scratched like an ape. Whattodo.
