Guess Who's Coming to Town?
Yay! Boi Mala asche! So, book lovers, any recommendations? I really need something good to read. Very low attention span these days. And where can you get them really cheap? Last year, I found these French books, translated into English at the Rupa bookstall, and they were really really good... Blues for a Black Cat for one. Quirkiest thing ever. So gimme a crazy list. (oh and am I abnormal? I still haven't been able to finish Love in the Time of Cholera and Catch 22!)

1. bill bryson - short history of nearly everything (illustrated version)...
dude...i read abt 80 pages of catch 22 and gave up...and with love in the time...i couldnt move beyond the 1st page. as far as being abnormal goes...i found out abt my insanity long time back....but congratulations to you on your new discovery!

I read the reviews and a few pages on Amazon... looks like a book that you would love. Nothing cynical, dark or artsy...just something I think you'd like to read.

I couldn't finish Catch 22 either... it's the most circular, self indulgent and utterly boring crap ever.
